Hi there! My name is Lauren, and I am so glad you found my blog, Snack Bar Films!
My love for all things film first stemmed from my love of writing. I became a member of the FL Writers Assoc. in August of 2024 and attended my first meeting, which happened to be featuring a well known screenwriter as the speaker. By the end of the 2 hour event, I was all over the idea of screenwriting and getting into film. So, that semester I changed my school schedule and added an Intro to Film class that focused on the story of film. Needless to say that class totally changed my life.
Now that I’ve graduated high school (with my AA degree, too!), I’m off to study Creative Writing and Film this fall. Crazy!
My love for food has a much less exciting story. I have always been a foodie, and this blog combines my 2 favorite things: food and film.
Pairing fun recipes with my film reviews, I hope that you will follow along to see what I’ve got in the DVR and oven!
